Corona Chronicles - Crown of Gold

Welcome back to Corona Chronicles. It's our daily time in Revelation. We're up to chapter 7 today. So we're just gonna read the first 8 verses. After this, I saw 4 angels standing at the 4 corners of the earth.

Holding back the 4 winds of the earth to prevent any wind from blowing on the land or on the sea or on any tree. Then I saw another angel coming up from the east having the seal of the living God. He called out in a loud voice to the 4 angels who had been given power to harm the land in the sea. Do not harm the land or the sea or the trees until we put a seal on the foreheads of the servants of our God. Then I heard the number of those who were sealed.

A hundred and 44000 from all the tribes of Israel. From the tribe of Judah 12000 were sealed from the tribe of Ruben 12000, from the tribe of Gag 12000, from the tribe of ASHA, 12000, from the tribe of Nathaili, 12000, from the tribe of Manassa, 12000, from the tribe of Levi, 12000, from the tribe of Isakar, 12000, from the tribe of Zebulun, 12000, from the tribe of Joseph, 12000, from the tribe of Benjamin 12000. Okay. That's up to 44000. Yeah.

12 tribes. 12 dogs. Yeah. I we we saw in chapter 6 this this letting out of the partial judgments of of God. We saw even the people of God come under those partial judgments and have even worse sort of things happening to them because the world hates them.

And then we saw the final judgment at the end of chapter 6 where the world's wrapped up. Mhmm. And then there's this question, who can stand? Yeah. The great idea.

Yeah. Who can stand? So for the great day of their wrath has come and who can withstand it. That's the question and it's a great question and the answer is here, isn't it? Yeah.

Yeah. Yeah. That's right. And So the the answer comes with the as this the the the the 4 angels standing at the 4 corners of the earth holding back the 4 winds, and then this this this other angel comes up from the east, and he has this seal of the living God. And and he and he gives this gives this answer.

Do not harm the land or the sea or the or the trees. Until we've got this the seal of of God on these hundred and 44000. Yeah. These are the people -- Yeah. -- that are gonna be able to stand.

Yep. So hold back everything. Yep. So this is now, if you like, we've gone back almost before time haven't we? Yeah.

So it's hold the judgments. Let's sort out the ones that are going to survive the final judgment. Yeah. Yeah. Hold everything back.

Let's make sure that my people God is saying -- Yeah. -- are sealed. Sign sealed -- Yeah. -- and then they'll be delivered. Yeah.

Yeah. And it's a on the face of it, it looks like a piddly little number. Yeah. But it's not -- No. -- literally a hundred and 44000 is this is the whole people of God, isn't it?

Yeah. This is this is, you know, everybody that that God has loved and chosen from before the foundation of the world This is all of them. None of them are gonna none none of them are gonna be lost. Not on that long stage. That's cute.

When the judgment comes, they're already sealed. Yeah. Yeah. And and and that I mean, if if you read it in the context of the book -- Yeah. -- it's the blood of the lamb, let's see what the Yeah.

Yeah. It's the blood on the door post when in exodus when the final judgment came -- Yeah. -- and they were passed those. And we're sealed by the Holy Spirit. And we're sealed by the Holy Spirit.

And the Holy Spirit has taken us to the cross and we've got the blood of Christ upon us. We're we're And this this is so encouraging today, isn't it? Because I mean, I think think about there might be people in your life that are sick. There might be people in your life that are, you know, you might maybe have you've lost someone. And and that can be a real like a massive question mark over your your faith.

Maybe God doesn't love me. Maybe God doesn't know what he's doing. Things seem out of control, but but that's not the case. Revelation says none of those who are gods will be lost. No.

Such such an such an encouraging And I think we've said it before that the church never loses a member. Yeah. You know, a real church. Yeah. Yeah.

Yeah. They're gonna get promoted. Yeah. Because they're sealed. Yeah.

And so when that judgement comes, we won't face it because we're we're sealed. Yeah. I think that the the the the other wonderful thing is that you know, what you sort of think, okay, hundred and 44000, the tribes of of Israel. Yeah. Okay.

We know all that. Why do you have to have sort of, you know, 5 to 8 and he spells out everything because he knows every name. Yeah. He knows the exact number and he knows every name. Not limiting this tribe is the largest -- Yeah.

-- from the doggyist to, you know, like, there's there's he's not gonna lose any. No. He knows them all. And it's it's a symbolic number. You know that actually by what we're gonna see tomorrow -- Yeah.

Yeah. -- which is 9 because it says I looked and there was a great multitude. Yeah. When the Jehovah's Witness is knocked on the door and they say there's only a hundred and 44000 that ever go to heaven. Yeah.

They just really put fine. I mean, I came back at the the best time I could've come back and I've got chapter 7. What what a peach though? Yeah. You you.

Yeah. Yeah. Absolutely. So we can be absolutely guaranteed that there are judgments coming going on. This is in the plan of God.

Their kind judgments, chapter 6, to get our attention because there is a real tsunami coming. Mhmm. A real wave of judgement. And no believer will be harmed on that day because that judgment has happened in the lord Jesus Christ. That's the seal.

Yeah. Praise God. Keep believing. Yeah. Yeah.
