There's not a donkey mentioned carrying Mary to Bethlehem BUT we see some amazing other stories involving a talking donkey (!) and the jawbone of a dead donkey being used as a weapon - but perhaps most honourable of all - a donkey carries Jesus into Jerusalem as King.
